Discovering Madrid and its surroundings

During the recent International Tourism Fair, FITUR 2018, a new video was launched to promote the Madrid region. It presents a wide selection of some of the fantastic places you can visit in the city as well as in its surroundings.

On the video, you can see how Madrid’s contribution to culture is marked by its important legacy of  out-standing museums and galleries. It also shows the most characteristic historic buildings and streets of the capital of Spain. Three places, of particular interest, declared World Heritage Sites by the UNESCO are shown: Aranjuez, with its impressive palace and gardens, Alcalá de Henares, the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes, and the Royal Site of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, the legacy of Philip II.

The video combines images of the city with the natural landscapes of the Sierra de Guadarrama. The mountains and towns in the region where you can enjoy outdoor activities such as trekking, horse riding, rowing and other sports.

Madrid is the city that never sleeps. The city comes alive at night with lots of events such as concerts, musical shows, clubs, late night restaurants, theatre etc. There is something for everyone. The visitor can be part of the city life on its terraces, in its parks, gardens and of course, through its gastronomy.

Apart from showing our students some of these unique and wonderful places in our Madrid Pack, we offer dynamic Spanish Language Courses combined with social and cultural activities so that they can experience the city as a local Madrileño.

A total language immersion. A different way of being a tourist and improving your language at the same time! Are you coming to Madrid with us?
